Hey, what can I say? I'm obsessed with my dog. I wanted to bring him on my book tour but I wasn't allowed to, so I have to leave him behind with a friend. He can tell something is up - he's so smart.

I was all ready to interview a woman at the airport but I took some cold medicine and felt really woozy - figured I'd better wait until tomorrow to start the interviews on this site. Mostly slept on the flight down - love US Air Shuttles - I can get free magazines! Picked up the latest Fast Company and Upside.

Tomorrow I've got about 4 radio interviews, a live TV interview and a DC Webgrrls gathering. Right now I'm at the hotel, unable to watch the X Files because it is too scary. So I'll play on the Web for a while.

Playing tourist after a day of media interviews which went really well. Everyone was very nice, they seemed genuinely interested in the book, and overall it was a lot of fun.

I began wondering what it would be like to have to do interviews over and over again, day in and day out. Would it get to be tiring. Well, it's only the first day out but I honestly can't imagine losing enthusiasm for this. It is what I love - the Internet - and it feels good to know Cybergrrl is actually helping women get online.

Uploaded the first interviews of women I met in Washington DC - non-techie women talking about their views about the Internet. Now I've got to pack so I'll upload photographs of the DC Webgrrls gathering at the Red Sage Restaurant tomorrow from the hotel in Atlanta. Gotta pack, gotta sleep.
