Meet The Author

Author Donna Woolfolk Cross breathes life into Joan and her story by taking us on a historic fictional journey of how Pope Joan's life may have been. Donna's background extends into education, advertising and publishing, though she has just recently devoted her full attention to writing, as another book is already in the works. Cybergrrl was recently able to sneak some questions to Joan while she was in the middle of her book tour.

Book of the Week

Coleman book What a Woman's Gotta Do

by Evelyn Coleman

Award-winning children's author Evelyn Coleman scores a direct hit with her first novel. What a Woman's Gotta Do blends science, folklore, African culture, and martial arts into a unique and thoroughly entertaining thriller that takes on issues of race, gender, spirituality -- and introduces journalist Patricia Conley. In the process of uncovering a plot that will endanger all humanity, Conley is hunted by the police, chased by a wacko scientist, and pursued by a love-struck undercover cop. But don't worry -- she gets to kick some butt along the way.
