I'm the domestic violence coordinator for Lakeside Family & Children's Services. I also sit on the NYC Interagency Task Force Against Domestic Violence, and its Child Welfare Committee and Teen Abuse Forum Subcommittee. The Teen Abuse Forum is planning a town hall meeting at Medgar Evers College on October 18. The purpose of this meeting is to provide teens with an opportunity to meet with elected officials and representatives from Administration for Children Services, domestic violence agecncies, and hospitals in an effort to educate officials and service providers about the needs of survivors of teen dating violence.

I'm a producer on a show called "The Class of 2000." We highlight and profile highschoolers who will graduate in the Year of 2000. Right now we're planning a show on dating violence and we're looking for young women who've been in abusive relationships with boyfriends---we want to profile someone who's gotten out of an abusive relationship of who's currently in one. Its important that this young woman graduate from HS in the Year of 2000. Its important for us to let the world know that violence against young women is unacceptable. I'd appreciate your help.
